Why St. Al's?

St. Al’s provides a Continuum of Care through evidence-based and result-driven programs to support children and families throughout the Greater Cincinnati region. All children served experience one or more mental health diagnoses. Many of the children and families served suffer from a generational cycle of family trauma and traumatic stress.

St. Al’s works every day to improve the lives of children and adolescents who are deeply disadvantaged, through no fault of their own. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every child has a chance; a chance to get an education, to grow character, to develop positive social skills; a chance to learn coping skills with which to meet life's inevitable challenges.

Specialized Education

Our non-public charter schools serve kids in grades K-11 with emotional or behavioral challenges. Our highly qualified intervention specialists and caring staff ensure that kids get the support they need to be successful.

Day Treatment

St. Al's Day Treatment program provides supportive, highly-structured treatment for children with more intense cognitive, behavioral, social, or mental health challenges. Kids benefit from group and individual therapy and develop healthy social skills.

Outpatient Services

St. Al's provides a full range of clinical services for kids and families to successfully navigate the effects of trauma and behavioral health challenges. We offer individual, family and group therapy, medication management, psychiatric treatment, and psychological testing.
